A Family, Family Photography

I think the big conundrum of every photographer is finding someone to take our pictures. I don't want to pay someone to do what I can do myself, and no one's style is quite like mine. Who's style do I want? Mine!

So, this fall, my family and I took a mini vacation up in the mountains. We brought our camera, extra outfits, a tripod and a remote.

As you can imagine, taking your own family pictures poses some challenges. For instance, now I see the "flaws" in our placing, because I wasn't able to look at it through the view finder and fix it right away. But you know what? I think we ended up with some rockin' pictures nonetheless.

Love this guy.

Seth didn't want to stand because he would be taller than his sister. And this is Abigail with her "hand on her hip."

Totally un-posed.

This is his wink. :)
