Catching up

I've been on sabbatical. Not the kind of sabbatical where I get to go to foreign lands or tropical vacations...the kind where I get to pick up dirty socks, carpool to second grade, and have dance parties in the kitchen.

I'd say it's pretty much awesome.

I've been doing photography jobs here and then and slowly easing back into taking pictures. Just a quick recap, here are my pics from 2017.

There are family pictures, senior pictures, family reunion, couples, baptism, product photography, missionary pictures, and so on. Enjoy!

Have you ever met a family with four handsome boys and one beautiful daughter and you think, "What lucky parents!"

I have!

This was one such family.

It was so fun to see these tough boys coo over their cute little nephew!

We also got some great Missionary shots.

Thanks again, K family! You're awesome!

Who doesn't love a good challenge?

Take this good looking family. What on earth could possibly be challenging about them? Well, see that handsome chap in the dark blue shirt? He warned me he'd only give up six smiles.

One of them I wasted when he smiled and I had to put the camera down while I waited for a bystander to stand elsewhere.

Five smiles, and the pictures turned out golden!

The middle brother is leaving for an LDS mission in a few weeks, so I was thrilled to take pictures of him so his parents could have them while he's gone.

See you in a few years, Elder Downs! When you get back, we'll do this again. And maybe your dad will give me seven smiles! :) Pin It
